"Developing professional knowledge, skills, and competence for music students" – is Erasmus + project, organized by 3 school partners with a direction of music from 3 country: Lithuania, Turkey, Latvia. This project solves the problem: Students in musical schools does not have enough knowledge, skills and competences in IT, necessary for professional activity, leisure time. The main goal of this project - to develop professional knowledge, skills, and competence for 15-18y.o. music students.
The tasks closely related to the purpose of the project are:
- to prepare needed material,
- to teach to introduce yourself, the event, and evaluate yourself, including knowledge about partner country culture, music culture,
- get to know about sound recording programs, including knowledge about partner country culture, music culture,
- train to use social networks safely, including knowledge about partner country culture, music culture,
- to measure the impact.
The main target group – STUDENTS, 15 - 18 y. o. and TEACHERS from music schools.
During the project was organized 4 Training activities: 1 for teachers (remotely), 3 – for students (exchanges of groups of pupils).
The main activities of this project are: Preparation and Learning / Teaching / Training activities (LTTA).
Preparation activities includes the next stages: dissemination after meeting, and preparation for the next meeting, program revision and a summer camp.
During the remotely teachers' meeting participated project managers and teachers, who later worked with the project.
During the LTTA activities for students participated 63 student (7 student 3 country 3 Training activities). The main methods on training activities were CLIL (meetings, homework's in English), simulation (using the simulation method introduces lessons for students), "learning by doing", group, and individual work, discussion, experiential tasks.
Impact of the project more than 2000 participants (incl. live event-TV broadcast viewers in Turkey, and live event broadcast viewers in Lithuania, and summer camp participants).
Results of the project:
- deeper professional knowledge, skills and competences for music schools students,
- methodical material: presentations "CV and Cover letter", "Event presentation" ("Kvietimo rengimas"), "QR code presentation", "QR code for evaluation English", "Competences", "Bandlab_Ableton", "Social media rules", "Easter celebration in Turkey", "Lithuanian Easter", "Logo competition" (rules), composers live (R.Pauls, L.Garuta, M.Kutavičius, M.K.Čiurlionis, A.A.Saygun, M.Suns),
- integrate lessons to teach partner country students and classmates,
- events and summer camp - to disseminate project, to improve competences,
- projects site and eTwinning project with dissemination material,
- systemic results of impact measurement questionnaires at the beginning of the project, after each meeting, and after project),
- school's introduced the lessons of Information Technologies (two years ago, sound direction lessons appeared in Lithuanian school, and 6 students at this year studied this subject),
- students studied sound engineering after project (1 student projects participant from Lithuanian school, and 1 student projects participant from Turkey school).
On the continuity of the project the participants STUDENTS:
- will use the IT tools, needed for job in the music field (like legal records program), looking for work (CV, cover letter), by organizing events and performances (QR code badges, certificates),
- will communicate with the children of another country,
- will be more motivated in IT and other lessons/activities.
The school will introduce / supplement the lessons of Information Technologies (or Computer Music Technologies) with the Sound Engineering subjects, project tasks, methods, and etc.
