Lithuania partner is Klaipėda Stasys Šimkus Conservatoire - gained experience in teaching pupils and students as a secondary school: in addition to basic education, students get formal musical education. We have about 140 students, whose age range is between 15-18. Conservatory has about 60 professional teachers.
Our school children are music gifted. They play a lot during lessons and after lessons. In this project, we want to combine their musical knowledge with technology. At school pupils learn the subject of computer music technology. During these lessons, children learn about music programs. Children need practical application of the trained subject. In this project, children will deepen their knowledge of legal / illegal recording programs, record their entries, prepare CVs, motivation letters, communicate with pupils from a school partner, play together, communicate in European / English, etc. This project will contribute to the improvement of general skills and will provide children with the international experience they will use in the future in their professional life.
Haroldas Šlikas is the teacher of Computer Music Technologies, responsible for record study. He studied at our school and has been working here for 21 year. Jolanta Vyšniauskienė is the head of school choir, she works at our school for 18 years. Dainius Žilinskas, guitar teacher, he works 2 years at our school.
The school has experience of the Erasmus project, so we have an administrative staff and teachers, which will contribute to the implementation of the project.
